Belgian Waffle Ride built its identity on irreverence — courses styled as a tribute to cycling's European Monuments, run over what BWR calls 'Unroads': gravel, dirt, singletrack, doubletrack, and brutal pavement stitched together in whatever combination the host region offers. The Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel is BWR's points competition across four of its flagship U.S. events: Arizona, California, Utah, and Montana. Despite the 'Quad' in the name, riders only need to complete three of the four to earn the crown — the naming is a bit of BWR's characteristic self-aware humor.
